Now, the Timbaland protégé is enjoying success of her own with brand new album, In A Perfect World. “I’ve always loved G-Shocks, I remember having one since I was a teenager. My first one was a bright, white, Men’s G-Shock and later I bought a Magenta Baby G, which I love so much. They’re so durable; like if I left it in my purse, I know it would be fine. I don’t know what it’s made of, but I’ve never messed one up, that’s for sure! I’m Built To Last because I have a very thick skin. I’m glad I had all those years of pursuing my career to fortify my craft, because I know I can go the distance. I’m a different breed altogether.”
