This new Solar Atomic mode is based on the original DW6900 model, G-Shock's best-selling case design. With this model, a Solar Atomic Timekeeping system was employed without changing the basic design of the watch. This makes it possible to generate power to keep the watch running with extreme accuracy and minimal exposure to normal lighting. The GW-6900BC features the reverse LCD and the composite resin/ steel strap. The 'G' on the light button is highlighted in gold.
